  2. Black Mirror,

I experiment with nontraditional materials to deconstruct the urban surrounding in which we exist. My work is constructed as painting through substances such as: aluminum, glass and household gloss paint. The industrial landscape has subconsciously engulfed itself into my practice, creating seductive, sublime textures.

In our contemporary world, we’re surrounded by reflective surfaces and black mirrors, yet our perception is jaded, we are a “twisted parable [of] the twitter age”, as Charlie Brooker once observed. I hope to tap into the unease of living in a technical world by confronting the viewer with a quiet moment of contemplation. A moment where there are no demands for instant results but rather an intimate communication with themselves.

  5. New studio space.

  6. I have recently moved to Manchester where I’m patiently waiting to start university. This isn’t as good as my studio in Backlit, which lets face it was a perfect situation for a starting artist. This is now my work desk in my bedroom.

  7. It’s good to be back in the studio!

  8. Recently we got blinds in the studio. I like them, they add a delicate layer to the spaces.

  9. My painting shirt for the last 3 years
